Day of Hope

Day of hope is...

a one-day special community event designed to educate and meet the human needs of residents. The heartbeat of the Day of Hope comes from a conglomeration of volunteers who were either born, live/lived, love, or work in Baltimore and remain committed with a vested interest in its successful revitalization. Power52 introduces its Clean Renewable Energy Initiative, Job Readiness and Workforce Development Program at the community event “Day of Hope”. This day is used in part to educate the community on their responsibilities in a green environment, what it means to be green, as well as how job training in the renewable energy sector can help them gain employment that will help better their socio-economic status.

“Day of Hope” is a FREE event to the community residents. This event provides grocery giveaways, haircuts, backpacks/school supplies, housing services, a job fair, and other resources and services for our “Guests of Honor” (community residents).
